Sasuke used his Sharingan to enter Naruto's subconscious to meet the Nine-Tails itself, finally discovering the source of Naruto's strength. The Nine-Tails became impressed with Sasuke's growth and ability, but as it criticized that he was similar to Madara Uchiha, Sasuke coldly reacted by using his Sharingan to suppress the Nine-Tails back into its cage, to which it never thought that he was quite capable of that feat.

The Sharingan works with eye-contact; don't see how you can make eye contact with a sealed beast at all times to place it under some sort of hypnotism.

And as for the fight w/Zenaku, will it be as if we had the Ichibi, or if we don't?

Understood. I wasn't sure; does the Sharingan control the Ichibi in the same way it does the Kyuubi? Something to consider. Saki and I also decided that, although the Sharingan wasn't able to tell which were the clones, my mind was. There was no smoke or anything to disguise herself.
