Chinote would spot Kiba and his pack with his Byakugan, but would not display any sign of knowing he they are there. He waits until the last second to move his right, swordless, wrist, causing a ring of sand to rise around him, stopping the trio from reaching him. He times their attack so that at the moment they would hit the wall of sand, three spikes would protrude from each of their positions, aiming to impale them and end this fight early. Shortly after, he would deactivate his Byakugan and allow the wall of sand to fall before quickly searching for Kiba.
