Depicted is the academic portion of the academy, although included in the entire facitly is the mission center and the administrative section, which is often times confused with the Hokage's Building becuase of their close proximity to each other. Nevertheless, the depicted part of the academy does have an odd resemblence to the Hokage's Building, probably becuase ever Hokage ever since the Third had to go through it.
Erected during the reign of the Second Hokage for teaching purposes, it serves as the birthing ground of all Leaf shinobi, none of which can progress ot Genin, Chunnin, and onwards without going through this academy. A small playground for both play and training are included near the grounds.
